Icefields by Thomas Wharton was a great option to read during the snowy season!

Icefields by Thomas Wharton My rating: 4 of 5 stars Icefields was a great book to read during the cold and snowy first months of 2025. I finished reading this at least two weeks ago but have not posted about it yet. The book takes place in the Canadian glaciers near Jasper in Alberta. A researcher falls into a crevasse during an exploration trip, and when he is close to passing out, he sees something in the ice that he never forgets. It's a passionate piece of Canadian literature and excellent reading for anyone who loves winter and snow. I enjoyed it a lot. View all my reviews
