I can't believe I finished reading A Storm of Swords! 😮

First of all, this was the longest book I have read in my life so far. 1177 pages. It was absolutely worth it!

OMG, the ending!! If you have only watched the series but have not read the books you are not prepared for the last paragraph in this book!

I watched the series first, so as I progressed on the book series I noticed the differences, and sometimes I was very shocked.

(Oh my god she is alive! 😱)

I love how much more magic the books have compared to the series. (Coldhands 😲)

My favorite povs: Daenerys, Jon, and Arya.

The writing is beautiful, I am happy that I took the time to read this series. I know there may never be an ending to A Song of Ice and Fire, but the experience these books provide is unique and worth every minute invested. I can't wait to read the next book.

The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker My rating: 5 of 5 stars I absolutely love the Hellraiser movie franchise and Clive Barker as an artist, so it was very easy for me to love this book as well. I have recently read Piranesi and have been in awe of books that, although super short, still have such a developed universe. It's the type of book I wish I could write myself someday. The novella was short, and I wish we had more time with the Cenobites. I will definitely be progressing to the comic books to see more of The Order of the Gash! Easy 5 stars. View all my reviews

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna My rating: 4 of 5 stars This book was aimed to be cozy, and it really did a wonderful job. 🤗 I really enjoyed the fantasy and world-building aspect of this book. 🧙🏻‍♀️🧙🏻‍♀️ The romance was notoriously boring, but everything else was a lot of fun. I do have to say that a smut scene in the middle of so much cuteness made me feel a little violated! 😳 This book made me feel like eating scones with cream and jam for the first time in years, which was great. 🍰🍵 Also, this book contains one of the cutest fictional dogs ever! Mika's dog, Circe, is literally described as annoyingly well-behaved!!
