These were the first two novels written by Haruki Murakami.

I heard about this author on book tube and loved all I heard. I read one of his later books, fell in love with his work, and decided to read his books in publication order.

This is clearly a debut novel, it lacks plot and structure but has amazing vibes.

It's a real slice-of-life style of fiction where it's just fun to hang around the characters.

This is a three and half-starts, I loved the vibes, and I wish I could spend some time drinking beer with the characters in the book.

There are some poorly executed transitions between timelines in the first few chapters. In the end, the story seemed to open a new arc that would never close... I read Frankenstein by Marry Shelley

  Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley My rating: 4 of 5 stars I loved reading this classic. I started randomly after noticing it was free to read classics via Kindle, and I was in for a ride. I absolutely loved Frankenstein, the creature he created, and their relationship. There was a lot of word repetition, which would not meet the standards of today's industries. Finding words to describe such an intense and powerful reading experience is hard. Over the past months, I have lived the Song of Ice and Fire, experiencing each page with more joy than I could ever expect. I have never read such a long series, and it has been worth the effort. A Dance With Dragons was the best book of the series by far, and it's amazing how intriguing the plot has become. I now join the group of people who wait for The Winds of Winter, uncertain of when it will be released, but reassured that once it's out there, it will be great. Thanks, George R. R.
